SOMATICS & SEXUALITY TRAININGS
Together with Hillary Baldwin Steller, LMSW, of Healing Through Action, I created SASSA for clinical social workers and mental health professionals who have a desire to be clinically versed in introductory somatic psychotherapy and sex therapy concepts, framing, and skills. We offer periodic workshops in Ann Arbor.
CONSENT CERTAINTY WORKSHOPS
I teach and speak about what I call the "Consent Certainty Matrix." In this workshop, I take Embodied Consent concepts and practices and incorporate them into interactive experiences on college campuses and communities to empower participants to move beyond fear and defense and into clear and embodied self-knowledge regarding desire, communication of that desire, and expression. I feel that this model of embodied consent and 'consent certainty' will inform all aspects of a person’s life well beyond the bedroom.
PARENTING THROUGH PUBERTY
The next book! This work supports parents to navigate their child’s transition into adolescence and beyond.
This material is based on the research, curriculum concepts, and teaching experience developed for INFORMED ADOLESCENCE® middle-school curriculum, as well as on my practice as a Licensed Master Clinical Social Worker with 35 years of experience supporting families and youth.
